Big Cock and Broomsticks Giveaway Hop


 
Welcome to my stop in the
Big Cocks and Broomsticks Giveaway Hop!!
 
I want to thank The Cabal of Hotness and Close Encounters with the Night Kind for putting together this Hop!  I had to join, just because I LOVED the name....LOL really who could resist smiling when reading the title!
I love the Fall season.  The weather starts getting cooler and our landscape gets colorful with all the leaves changing colors.  Apples are harvested and make some delicious desserts and dishes.  YUMMY!

I thought I would share a recipe for a special treat:
Chunky Applesauce
 
Ingredients
  • 8 cups chopped, tart cooking apples
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions
Combine first three ingredients. Cover and cook for 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Mash or put in blender to desired consistency. Optional: Remove peelings. Serve warm or cold.
