However, before he can think of his own happiness, he has to rescue his little sister. Uncle Theo kidnapped her, and Brandon will do anything to get her back, even if he must embrace the monster within to become the dragon.

“What do you mean, what am I?” Her brow crinkled. “I am the same thing you are.” Her shoulders drew back, her head tilted imperially, and for a moment, shadowy wings glistened silver at her back. “We are dragon.”

At her serious claim, he gaped then snorted before he outright laughed.

“Why are you giggling?” She seemed perturbed at his reaction.

“Men don’t giggle. We guffaw. And I’m guffawing because that is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. I’m no dragon. I’m nothing anymore but a fucking mess.” Bitter words for a bitter fate.

Do you ever wish you were someone else? Who?

I would totally be a bad ass superhero. Seriously, they get it all. Action. Adventure. Romance. Plus the coolest outfits and friends.

What did you do on your last birthday?

Drove kids around. LOL. When you’re a mom, you don’t always lead the most exciting life. So I live vicariously through my imagination.

What part of the writing process do you dread?

The middle. I hate the middle of the story. That’s the point I hate the story, hate the characters and I get really mad at it. Then I fix what’s bugging me. lol

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it? See the above question, lol. Seriously, for me writer’s block just means I’ve lost my way with the characters or the story lacks tightness. I return to the beginning and begin sewing together more tightly the scenes, and that usually helps me move on.

Tell us about your latest release.

Dragon Becoming is a fun story. It starts with Brandon, a poor gator shifter who’s been experimented on. He’s now a lizard dude, with wings. Because of this, he thinks he’s a monster. That ends the day he meets Aimi and she insists he’s a dragon. But he doesn’t believe her. Lots of great laughs in this one because Aimi is freaking awesome. She is an utter snob. A true princess. And she’s totally unapologetic about it. The sparks between these two is amazing! I hope readers love it as much as I do.
