HE’S GOT
SOMETHING SHE WANTS
When Katie McKnight gets lost location-scouting for her father’s TV
studio, she stumbles upon the perfect setting for their angsty new teen vampire
series—a remote barn house unfortunately occupied by a grouchy, disheveled, and
incredibly sexy man who instantly mistakes her for the new nanny. Should Katie
tell him the truth, or get her foot in the door?
SHE’S GOT
EVERYTHING HE NEEDS
Bestselling author Vance Kerner doesn’t just have writer’s block—he’s
been run ragged ever since he was saddled with taking care of his brother’s
three kids, an adopted kitten, and a runaway mutt. The last thing he needs is a
teen drama defiling his property, but with fascinating and unconventional Katie
underfoot charming the entire Kerner household, Vance is finding it harder and
harder to say no.

Talking with author Michele
Summers!
Where did you get idea for this novel?
I think it first
started with the kids, because I’d been dealing a lot with my own active kids
and my sister’s five boys. And I thought it’d be funny to see how two people
with no children get thrown together and how they cope.
What is your favorite scene?
When Katie first
meets Vance and the kids, standing in his dirty kitchen while he frantically
searches for his papers for a meeting with his agent. There’s an instant
attraction but no time to dwell on it because kids and animals are running wild
everywhere and need attention.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on a
fun series set in Miami where I lived for over 20 years. It’s centered around
three brothers, all athletes in different stages of their careers and how they
find love in women who are basically their complete opposites. The first will
hopefully be released summer of 2017.
What do you like to do when you are not writing?
I enjoy playing
tennis, reading, traveling, antiquing, and spending time with my kids, not
necessarily in that order.
What is one interesting fact about you that
readers don’t know?
I studied voice
and drama for years in hopes of performing on Broadway! Yeah, that hit the
skids, but I’m good with it.
Top 3 things on your bucket list?
1.
Renting a
villa in Tuscany for the summer…or forever.
2.
Being a
judge on Project Runway or looking like Heidi Klum (hey, it’s my list)
3.
Restoring/redesigning
a historical southern plantation home where I have carte blanche and a team of installers
at my beck and call…like HGTV.
Do you have a genre that you can see yourself
writing in the future?
The obvious
choice would be Women’s Fiction, but I’d also be interested in Fictional
Biography.
