Can a wolf earn back his mate’s trust after throwing it away?

The last time werewolf Franco Antico saw his Omega, Jaime was eighteen—gorgeous, sweet and innocent. When dark forces threatened their pack, he made the choice to protect Jaime the only way he could, by fleeing and taking the fight elsewhere.

Five years later, Franco returns to discover nothing of his childhood friend and mate remains. Jaime’s bitter, broken, and carrying the pup of an abusive alpha.

Trust needs to be earned. Franco gave his away. Can he mend Jaime’s heart and soul, and reclaim his lost Omega?

Hello!

Thank you for having me on your blog today!

As some of my readers know, I’m a borderline diabetic.

Living a sugar-free life, especially on Halloween isn’t easy.

Sugar-free milk chocolate Hershey bars and mint patties are all good. But sometimes, we all need something else to hit the spot.

Pumpkin waffles are one of my favorite and easy desserts to make for my family during Halloween.

My Review:

I enjoyed this M/M shifter romance.  The two main characters are mates and on the run from the clan that annihilated their home.  Franco feels that Jaime won't survive running anymore and decides that he must leave him behind so Franco can go after their attackers.  Jaime feels abandoned and alone when he finds himself in a situation were he is used and abused by an Alpha.  Franco comes to the rescue and finds that Jaime is not ready to forgive what he feels is Franco's betrayal.

I felt for these two very flawed characters.  Their story is of survival and though a little dark with a bit of violence, there is also love.  I enjoy how Angelique Voisen weaves a tale that captures the reader and though this is a good book it is not her best in my opinion.  Highly recommend lovers of M/M romances check out this authors stories. 3.75 stars ~Booklover Sue
