BLURB:
Clara
Redbeck has one goal: to prove to the sods at work—and to herself—that the best
man for the job can be a woman. To do that, she must prevent a traitor from
blowing London to bits. If only the dashing first mate of the dirigible she’d
been tasked to plunder didn’t set her aflame.
Garrett Dewhurst has one goal: to execute the coup of a lifetime. His plans do not include a spanking dalliance with the most intriguing woman he has ever met.
With each encounter, the fire between them burns hotter and their need grows stronger. Finally, the cramped cabin aboard the Bismarck becomes their intimate playground, where Garrett introduces Clara to the pleasure of submission and they explore their passion in every way possible.
Clara and Garrett want a future together, but each holds a secret that if revealed could cost them everything. When danger closes in, they have to choose between protecting themselves or the whole of London.

EXCERPT:
She didn’t respond. Instead she studied him from the tips of
his boots to the top of his head and every inch in between. Heat spread through
his body, unexpected and not completely welcome.
Then she mirrored his stance right down to the raised
eyebrow.
Unable to help himself, he smiled.
It had been a very, very long time since a woman had
intrigued him after exchanging just a few sentences. She took his breath away
and made him want to laugh. Judging by her frown, this was not the response
she’d expected.
Garrett turned to Jens. “I believe you have other passengers
to look after. I’ll take care of Miss Riesenbeck and anything she may require.”
Jens nodded. He bowed to both of them and practically ran
away.
“I don’t know if I should be insulted at the speed of his
departure or pat his cheek.”
Garrett chuckled. “Neither. I just think you are too much
woman for him. He wouldn’t know how to handle you.”
She widened her eyes. “And you do?”
He curved his lips and knew his smile carried an edge.
“Would you like me to prove it?”
She scrutinized him, leaving him hanging on the lip of the
abyss, waiting for her response.
“Give me the tour Jens had promised to escort me on, and I
will let you know at the end.”
Challenge curled through him. He bowed lightly but continued
to hold her gaze captive. “Please step into my cargo hold.”
Her smile lit up her face. Her beauty was not conventional,
but in that moment, it grabbed him by the throat. “Said the spider to the fly.”
“Will you step into my web?”
She turned around and threw a glance over her shoulder.
“That has yet to be determined.” She strode to the door, and Garrett fell into
step behind her.

Talking with author Tina Christopher!
Hello
there! Thank you for letting me stop by, Sue. I hope you’re having a great week
so far.
What
is your writing environment?
I
can write wherever and whenever I need to, so I don’t really have a specific
writing environment. On top of that I have quite literally just moved. By the
time you read this post I have set up my desk in my new bedroom, but I have not
yet had the chance to use it. Right now I’m sitting on the sofa surrounded by
boxes and boxes of (mostly) books, all just waiting to be unpacked.
Who is your perfect hero/heroine and why?
That’s
a tough question. In my own writing Miguel form Tangled Redemption has a
special place in my heart. Originally he was supposed to the be the villain,
the Big Bad, but he vigorously protested and nagged at me to tell his story
while I wrote the first three books in the series. He is a Vampire who has
suffered immeasurably and it has changed him. He is clinging to his honour by a
thread. But despite that he is hot, demanding and heroic. I can’t choose
between my girls, but one of my favourite heroines is Sienna Laurens Snow from
Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh. There’s just something about her journey (the one
we followed for nine books) and the way she has to deal with her incredible power
and the alpha male who is her mate.
What authors have caught your interest lately and why?
I’ve
been working my way through the Black Knights Inc. series by Julie Ann Walker.
It’s great mix of characters combined with tense, fast-paced plots and scorching
romances. I’ve also just discovered Paige Tyler when I stumbled across her
latest release Wolf Trouble. A werewolf SWAT team? How cool is that? I’m
looking forward to discovering the rest of her world.
What type of book have you always wanted to write?
I
write what I love, steampunk and Sci-Fi, but I would love to write a
contemporary romantic suspense. I actually have one finished. It just needs a
judiciously applied hacksaw and a mountain of polish before it’s ready to see
the light of day.
Top 3 things on your bucket list?
- Visit New Zealand and go on a Lord
of the Rings tour. I’d love to see all the places I’ve watched so many
times on DVD.
- Ride the VooDoo zip line at the Rio
Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. I’m going to Romantic Times Convention in
Las Vegas next year and discovered there is a zip line between the two
hotel towers. I really want to have a go. I’ve zip lined in Whistler when
I was visiting, but that was nowhere near as high. Right now I’m positive
I can do it, but that might change when I get there;).
- See the desert. I don’t know why,
but I would love to see a real desert with camels and the people who have
made this inhospitable habitat their home.
What is your favorite scene in your new release?
Clara
is an undercover agent and needs to explore the layout and every nook and
cranny of the dirigible she’s travelling on to fulfill her mission. To achieve
that she has to allow First Mate Garrett Dewhurst to give her a tour. I love
the banter and chemistry that exploded all over the page when I wrote that
scene. There are so many double entendre and such great subtext in every
sentence I had to stop myself from giggling to continue writing. But that is
just the first. There is also a moment where Clara holds a gun to Garrett’s
head and a moment where their dalliance could be discovered at any moment. I’ve
had a lot of fun writing their story and I hope the readers will love them as
much as I do.
What are you working on now and when can we expect it to be available?
I
am working on Victoria’s Secret Agents 2 and hope to have that done and ready
to go to my editor by the end of the year. I’m also working on that romantic
suspense, currently without a title, and hope to start submitting that by the
beginning of the new year.
What do you like to do when you are not writing?
When
I’m not writing I love to read everything I can get my hands on, ideally curled
up on the sofa with my cat Miss Emma Peel beside me. I’m also a big TV watcher
and love to catch up on all the movies I’ve missed while focused on my own
worlds. I love to travel and take trips whenever I can. And of course hanging
out with friends.
What is one interesting fact about you that readers don’t know?
I
used to compete in horse riding tournaments, both dressage and show jumping. As
a tween and teen I could have never imagined a time when I was without horses,
but unfortunately growing up sometimes means moving and you can’t take your
world with you. I never owned my own, but I looked after and took care of other
people’s horses.
A
few years ago I spent time in the British Columbia Rockies and did a course to
become a wilderness guide on horseback. That was a lot of fun and gave me an
opportunity to be close to the animals I love, but unfortunately downtown
Toronto is not exactly littered with horse stables and as I don’t own a car
getting outside of the city involves hours of travel.
Thank
you so much for having me.

AUTHOR Bio and Links:
Tina Christopher spent her early
years flitting across the Channel between Germany and England. After touring
the world extensively—from hanging out with elephants in South Africa to hiking
through the wilderness in Alaska—she finally laid down roots in Toronto.
Although Canada’s winters may be frigid, Tina’s characters are anything but!
Like most writers, Tina often hears voices in
her head, but it took the encouragement of an editor friend to have her
actually put fingers to keyboard. While those first stories will never see the
light of day, she’s subsequently honed her craft and learned to build not just
worlds, but entire galaxies. History has always been an area of interest for
her, and she’s enjoys few things more than imagining what could happen when
history and future meet.
When not imagining far-away worlds and
scorching-hot encounters, Tina can be found on her sofa working through her
never-ending TBR pile or venturing into the real world—whether to a nearby café
or a passport-required destination. She’s a member of the Romance Writers of
America Toronto chapter and looks forward to where her characters take her
next!
