Blurb:
When Bonnie's Cousin goes to prison just for having the wrong friends, She goes faithfully to visit him. She notices the good looking guard there all the time, but feels it would be awkward to approach him.

When he hears her singing one day, there in the visiting room, he realizes he just has to get to know her. The question is, how? Then when she's viciously attacked by a violent prisoner, he realizes how much she means to him.

My Review:
This was a very sweet romance. Bonnie visits her cousin every week and finds herself fascinated by one of the prison guards, Dean. Dean is just as fascinated by Bonnie and waits for an opportunity to get to know her. When Bonnie is attacked while visiting, Dean protects her and suddenly realizes that now is the time.
Bonnie is a very sweet and loyal woman who works hard. Her cousin was wrongly convicted but will soon be released from prison and she is eagerly awaiting his return. Dean is following in his father's footsteps when he becomes a prison guard, he is also very sweet and loyal.
The storyline is lovely with a blend of romance and a touch of action. I did like the book but it felt very odd to me in the way it was written. There was very little dialogue between the characters.....mostly generalized. An example is they spent the evening together but there was hardly any conversation scenes written. They find out all about each other but with no dialogue for the reader to enjoy. I would give this book a 3.75 star rating. ~Booklover Sue

Author Bio:
A.R. was born and raised in Bronx, NY and is the oldest daughter of two girls. She holds an Associate's Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology, which was only briefly used. She's a mother of two entertaining teen boys (as well as a lovely fawn Chihuahua, whom she considers her furry daughter.) She's also a wife to a delightfully handsome and amazingly funny man-beast. She loves anything dragon and fantasy related. In her free time she enjoys exercising, listening to music, hiking, cooking, dancing and writing. She also loves a great adventure in and out of a book!
She writes to free her mind of its constant wondering and priceless clutter. She thrives on the fact she can share some of it with readers that have the same passion for a great story.
