BLURBS:
Waking
up in a strange barn was just the tip of the iceberg. Cassie and Niall find
themselves transported to another world, one full of dragon shifters who want to
possess them. Cassie is claimed by Illion, an electric blue dragon who shifts
into five hulking men, and Niall is claimed by Wynn, a lime green dragon who
shifts into two men and two women.
The
Zmaj feed from the sexual energy of humans, and finding a cache of five in an
abandoned barn is a momentous occasion. Convincing them to stay and protecting
them from the Inamanida, their sworn enemy, is another task altogether. And
falling in love? Zmaj don’t do that.
When
Cassie runs away, Illion is forced to confront his prejudices and his brethren
in order to save her from a fate worse than death.
Warnings:
MMMFF, MMFMMM, light bondage, dominant dragon shifters
Waking
with no memory, Arabella finds herself courted by three men claiming to be her
mates. Dragon shifters Tobin, Gerrit, and Blakely woo her with sweet words and
deeds, convincing her that she’s always lived this fairy tale existence. Life
is perfect until the Inamanida King decides the experiment has gone on long
enough—and Tobin is ordered to turn Arabella over to be tortured and used by
the entire clan.
Meanwhile
Jonathan is working to help settle the humans in Zmaj’s outer city. As the son
of a prominent human leader, finds himself thrust into a leadership role and
having to liaise with creatures he was raised to fear. Soon he falls for
Laurel, a beautiful woman recently arrived from Earth, but as secrets emerge,
he faces a stark truth that could cost him everything.
Tobin
and Jonathan must risk everything and deal with consequences that could cost
them the fragile relationships they’ve built with the women they love.
Warnings:
MFMM, MF
In
the months following Jonathan’s transformation, Laurel struggles to come to
terms with her feelings for him and the horrific memories of time spent as a
dragon’s slave. Jonathan struggles to be patient, but Laurel’s fear is breaking
his heart. Niall and Cassie open a popular bakery and revel in the bliss of
love and their new lives. Arabella pines for Tobin’s aspects to be reunited,
and Nora discovers the secret of creating Zmaj offspring.
Meanwhile
all Zmaj braces for the Inamanida attack that Tobin warned them about. When it
finally comes, the Zmaj find themselves vastly outnumbered by enemy forces. In
the violence that follows, everything changes.

EXCERPT:
She broke the kiss suddenly and tightened her grip on my
manhood. “You left without saying goodbye.”
“You were asleep. I said goodbye to Stellan.” Technically,
I’d sucked his cock. No words had been uttered by either of us.
“You gave sex. This is not the same.”
I stroked a strand of her lime green hair away from her
gorgeous face, and I extended the caress down her cheek. “I missed you too.”
Her bottom lip stuck out in a pout. “You will let me come to
the bakery next time?”
I exhaled hard, mostly because she squeezed my cock to the
edge of pain. “Saskia, you can’t come there because you don’t let me work.” My
Zmaj was possessive of me and my time, but we were working on that. When I was
at the bakery, I’d banned them from visiting because they inevitably got in the
way. Even Taja, who loved to bake, had caused me to burn items too many times.
Since they also had duties and responsibilities, they’d agreed to respect and
support my career choice. Wrapping my arms around her, I pulled her to my
chest. “But I’m not working now, so I’m all yours.”
Slowly her grip loosened, and she slid her hand from my
pants. Her finger partially morphed into a claw, and she tugged at the fastener
on my fly. My pants slid down my legs to pool at my ankles. I kicked out of
them, careful not to move too much because Saskia still had a claw and she was
now on her knees in front of me. Her tongue darted out to wet her upper lip. I
widened my stance and leaned back against the coolness of the wall because where
sex was concerned, I had no control. What my Zmaj wanted, they took—and I
gladly gave.
Lifting my cock, she dipped her head and slid her wet tongue
over my sac. I sucked air and closed my eyes. Playing light flicks over my
sensitive skin, she barely touched me, and I knew the teasing was in some
measure a punishment for leaving without waking each aspect that morning. Part
of me had done it for selfish reasons—they’d want to have sex, and I’d slept
in, so I didn’t have time, and I didn’t have it in me to refuse them. My Zmaj
fed from my sexual energy, and so they were the opposite of selfish when it
came to sex. They often didn’t care if they climaxed at all. It was a nice
bonus, but not the point. Pushing me to the edge and keeping me there—that gave
them immeasurable pleasure and more energy than ten meals.
“Saskia.” I moaned her name, a reverent caress that matched
how I stroked her hair.
She ran her fingertips up and down my thighs, sending
shivers to my belly, and she sucked my sac into her mouth. Warmth closed around
my cock, and I opened my eyes to see Taja on her knees next to Saskia.
She winked at me as she drew my cock into her mouth, and
then she let it go. “Welcome home, Niall. We don’t have time to tie you up
right now, but you will not move.” I frequently disobeyed her orders because
when I did, they only did things to me that were even more deliciously wicked.
She ran her tongue along the ridge of my crown, and when she went to take me
back into her mouth, I thrust, forcing my dick deeper than she’d anticipated.
Immediately, Saskia pulled my balls down, stretching them
until I cried out. It hurt and it felt so fucking good. “You moved.”

What
is your writing environment?
Michele:
I write wherever I can. When I’m at home, I write on the sofa, in my bedroom,
and outside (weather permitting.) I basically look for places where my children
can’t sneak up behind me and read over my shoulder. I frequently take my laptop
to my daughters’ swim or dive practice. It’s warm and people usually leave me
alone so I can work. I pop on headphones, and I can look up every now and again
to see how my kids are doing.
Who is your perfect hero/heroine and why?
Michele:
There’s no such thing as perfection. My “perfect” hero or heroine has flaws
because it makes them who they are. I relate to people who have body image
issues, who lose their temper and do/say things they later regret, who
sometimes lack confidence, and who have off days. These people find strength
from within to overcome their obstacles, and that gives me hope that I can also
overcome whatever crap life throws my way.
What
authors have caught your interest lately and why?
Michele:
My reading taste tends to lean heavily toward the paranormal. I have the
Divergent series on my TBR for June. Everybody I know has already read it. I’ve
seen the movies, and I’ve loved them, so I’m looking forward to the books.
What
type of book have you always wanted to write?
Michele:
I typically write whatever kind of book I want to write. I gravitate toward
BDSM, romantic suspense, and paranormal/sci-fi.
Top
3 things on your bucket list?
Michele:
Still no bucket list. It’s trendy to have one, but I tend to do things as they
occur to me, so I don’t need one. Score one for impulsiveness!
How
did you get the idea for this particular novel?
Michele:
I wondered what would happen if people woke up one morning to find everything
they knew was gone. Cassie, Niall, Arabella, and Laurel are forced to evaluate
their entire lives along entirely new parameters. Stranded without hope of help
or rescue, without anything but the clothes on their backs, how would they
survive? What kinds of life choices would they make in order to stay alive?
Would they consent to being sex slaves for this alien race, or would they
demand respect and equality? As they’re different people, the answers to those
questions are very different for all of them. I find the ways people adapt
utterly fascinating.
What
is your favorite scene in your new release?
Michele:
I think my favorite scene comes at the end of Dragon Kisses 3 during an epic
battle between warring dragon clans. It’s when Laurel and Helena go up against
a big enemy dragon and Laurel realizes some heavy and important life lessons.
Of course now she has to live to put her new plan into action!
What
are you working on now and when can we expect it to be available?
Michele: I recently got the rights back to
Re/Paired, so I’m working on polishing that up. In July, I plan to release the
long-awaited Re/Claimed (Doms of the FBI 3)—Dustin and Layla’s story. I am
partial to strong heroines and the strong heroes they need! Here’s the blurb:
Layla’s wicked fantasies had
already caused problems that left her with deep emotional scars, so when she
got a second chance to live them out, she insisted on strict rules and
boundaries.
Dustin agreed to abide by Layla’s
rules because that’s the only way he could have her, but after a while, it
wasn’t enough. He wanted the whole woman—the impulsive, stubborn parts as well
as her sweet, generous side—and so he insists she give him a fair chance to
prove he’s worthy of her love. He’s over the moon when she agrees to date him,
even if she insists on a vanilla relationship.
Complicating matters is the return
of her abusive ex-Master, a kidnapped child, and a human trafficking ring
that’s been targeting teens from the community center Layla runs. When the
investigation turns up nothing, Layla takes desperate measures that put her and
Dustin in danger.
In Re/Claimed (Doms of the FBI 3),
Michele Zurlo delivers another hot, heart-wrenching, and stunning BDSM romantic
suspense tale.
Warnings: D/s,
kidnap/breaking-and-entering fantasy play, impact play, bondage, spanking, anal
play, electric play, and some seriously sexy kinky footwear
Word Count: 85,598
What
do you like to do when you are not writing?
Michele:
I watch a lot of TV. I’m working my way through Marco Polo and Dexter, but I
can only watch them when the kids aren’t around. This summer, I plan to get
back into my workout routines. I practice yoga, and I like to jog. I’d be
tempted to call it running, but that would be a lie. I’m much, much too slow.
Sometimes I walk faster than I run. Another thing I want to work on is my
quilt. I sew to relax, and I’m currently taking about ten years to make this
quilt. I sew everything by hand, so it’s slow going even when I do remember to
work on it!
What
is one interesting fact about you that readers don’t know?
Michele: I got married last year, but it wasn’t legal
(recognized) until this year. Let’s hope the Supreme Court makes the right call
so all the other same-sex couples in Michigan can finally tie the knot.
AUTHOR Bio and Links:
I’m Michele
Zurlo, author of over 20 romance novels. During the day, I teach English, and
in the evenings, romantic tales flow from my fingertips.
I’m not half as
interesting as my characters. My childhood dreams tended to stretch no further
than the next book in my to-be-read pile, and I aspired to be a librarian so I
could read all day. I’m pretty impulsive when it comes to big decisions,
especially when it’s something I’ve never done before. Writing is just one in a
long line of impulsive decisions that turned out to showcase my great
instincts. Find out more at www.michelezurloauthor.com or @MZurloAuthor.
