My Review:

This was a fantastic roller coaster ride of a book!  Kendra is given her first field assignment and is thrilled.  Declan is the exact opposite of thrilled, he has watched Kendra obsess over Clayne while he did everything he could think of to get her to notice him and has finally decided it was time to move on.  The mission was supposed to be a simple training exercise, very low risk.  Suddenly the team is ambushed and on the run in the jungle, trying to survive.  Kendra and Declan are separated from the group and must rely on each other to make it out alive.

This story was captivating from page one and had me eagerly turning the pages.  The well written storyline is filled with action and suspense as well as a fascinating love story.  Kendra has finally noticed Declan and now is unsure if they will live long enough to see if they could have a relationship.  Kendra is such a wonderful person....calm, cool, caring and very compassionate.  Declan is so protective and strong and he also slowly realizes that Kendra is a very capable woman and his respect of her increases tremendously as they both struggle to get out of the jungle alive.  Paige Tyler really knows how to draw her readers into her stories and leaves them looking forward to her next book.  I highly recommend both this book and series to lovers of romance with elements of paranormal, adventure, drama and humor.  I give this 5 stars!  ~Booklover Sue
