Rebel’s pen freezes on the paper. He turns, then, towering over me, my face level with his belt buckle. It’s as though I can literally feel the heat rolling off his body. He’s intimidating and overwhelming, his presence a powerful force to be reckoned with.

“Oh, Sophia. I use my brain. Every time I sleep with a woman, I’m using my head to figure out what she likes. How she likes it. What I can do to have her screaming my name until her throat’s raw.”

My Review:

I have been eagerly awaiting Rebel and Sophia's story and this book was amazing! Readers are introduced to these two characters in the Blood & Roses series. I am going to keep my review short because I do not want to spoil this wonderful story for other readers. Rebel is MC president of his club and a hard yet honest man. Sophia was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Rebel needs Sophia's help but all she wants is to return home and forget everything that happened to her. There is chemistry between these two very different characters that kept me turning the pages. This was a well written and highly recommend it. I read this book in one sitting and just a note, there is a cliffhanger as this book is only the first part of a series! I would also recommend reading the Blood & Roses series as that features Sophia's sister, Sloan who is searching for her missing sibling. Believe me when I say you will be hooked from the first page in that series as well. ~Booklover Sue
