My Review:
I have mixed emotions about this well written and fascinating romance. It was very engrossing and I found myself unwilling to put it down until I got to the end but I was not a big fan of Raine. Raine has been in love with her savior and boss, Hammer, for years and when she finds a submissive leaving his room, her heart feels broken. She knows he has had sex with others but to see the proof of it was too much for her. Hammer has known Raine has had feelings for him and has the same feelings for her but does not believe she is capable of being the type of woman he needs so has kept his distance. Liam is Hammer's best friend and is visiting him to help overcome the sting of his divorce. Liam sees the attraction between these two and is determined to bring them together but doesn't count on falling for her himself. Raine is now torn between these two very dominant men, one she has loved for years and one who is slowly slipping into her cracked heart. My issue with Raine is she is very immature and bratty through a lot of this book and add in some of her actions and reactions, it just put me off liking her that much. I do not want to reveal any spoilers so I will just say that I will continue to read this series as this book totally captured my attention and I hope that a HEA is in story for Hammer, Liam and Raine in the upcoming books. I will say that this story ends with a cliffhanger but the second book has been released and the third book will be released in another month so readers will not be waiting too long for their next fix! I recommend this book to lovers of kinky romance with lots of drama and interesting characters (I am really hoping Beck gets his own story!!) who also love lots of emotional ups and downs throughout a story. ~Booklover Sue
