Author: Lacey Wolfe
Tour Organizer: N K Author Services

Love happens when you least expect it.

Officer Cody Duncan gave up on love years ago. Or so he thought.  He was content with his quiet solitary life, until a clumsy waitress spilled hot coffee on his pants and turned his world upside down. Suddenly, there’s a new heat in his life, filled with cravings for things he once pushed aside.

Lily Jenkins’ busy life as a single mom and primary caretaker for her elderly mother leaves little time for herself. Struggling to adjust to a new life in a small town, her focus is too easily derailed by the gorgeous man she accidentally spilled hot coffee on. Knowing she has too much already going on, Lily vows to keep Cody at a distance, even though she craves him in ways she never thought possible.

Their attempts at simple friendship continually fail as they soon discover an untamable fire between them whenever they are alone together.

Seeing a life he never imagined for himself, will Cody have the patience to wait for the woman of his dreams? Will Lily finally let go and give Cody the Keys to Her Heart?

Let's learn a little about Lacey Wolfe:

What is your writing environment?
I write in my living room usually when the kids are at school. However, summer is upon us, so I usually go into the formal dining room where it's super quiet to get in a little writing.
Who is your perfect hero and why?
I love a hero who is all man and it takes a woman to bring him down to his knees and show him what love is. Only for her is he that swoonworthy man.
What authors have caught your interest lately and why?
I've been reading the heck out of serial romances. They remind of a soap opera and I just can't stop reading them, even with the cliffhangers.
What type of book have you always wanted to write?
I wanted to write a really awesome murder mystery one day.
Top 3 things on your bucket list?
Visit another country.
Have a huge flower garden that I can actually keep alive and enjoy.
Be a grandmother.
How did you get the idea for this particular novel?
Cody was in the previous two Brookfield stories has his fighting sisters found love and rekindled their relationship. Once things settled between the two sisters, it was time for Cody to find his love. Of course, it couldn't be a walk in the park for him. So I created the heroine who just didn't have time, and he had to find a way to fit into her life.
What is your favorite scene in your new release?
I love the scene when they are grilling out in the winter and enjoying a cookout.
What are you working on now and when can we expect it to be available?
I'm currently working on Second Chances, the sequel to Hypnotized. Then I am going to attempt a serial romance. I have no idea if it will ever see the light of day, so it might be something more for myself.
What do you like to do when you are not writing?
Read and crochet. I'm a quiet person, so I enjoy activities I have to do alone. However, I do enjoy playing with the kids and finding fun activities to do with them as well.
What would you consider a perfect date?
My favorite date with my hubby is when we have a night off from the kids and we go out to eat (I don't have to cook!), and we come home and have a netflix show marathon.
What is one interesting fact about you that readers don’t know?
Interesting? I'm pretty boring. LOL. Hmm...I only wear my wedding ring when I leave the house or sleep. Otherwise, I keep it off because I have a jewelry allergy.

Lacey Wolfe has always had a passion for words, whether it's getting lost in a book or writing her own. From the time she was a child she would slip away to write short stories about people she knew and fantasies she wished would happen. It has always been her dream to be a published author and with her two children now of school age, she finally has the time to work on making her dream come true.
Lacey lives in Georgia with her husband, son and daughter, their six cats and one black lab who rules the house.
Come learn more about me:

Once Gunther was buckled into his father’s car, Lily leaned in and hugged him tight. “I’m going to miss you so much. Don’t grow too much over the weekend.”
“Mom.” Gunther rolled his eyes. “I’ll be home tomorrow.”
She kissed his cheek. “Don’t roll your eyes at me, and I love you. Call if you need me.” Lily closed the door and spun around to Heath. “Drive safe. Text me when you get home.”
“Will do.” He pulled the keys from his pocket. “Enjoy some time to yourself.”
Lily leaned against her car and watched as they drove off. She should be feeling the excitement of freedom. She could do whatever she wanted for the next day, but instead, she missed her son the second the car was out of her sight.
She picked up the coffee she’d set on the hood and took a long drink. She glanced out at the park. A few people were out running this morning. God, she wished she had that kind of determination. Lily was one of those people, if you saw her running, you should run yourself, since something was most likely chasing her.
One runner caught her attention just as he stopped a few feet in front of her. He leaned over, hands on his knees as he caught his breath.
His head turned, looking at her. Sweaty and sexy. He wore a pair of navy athletic shorts and a white wife beater. And, oh God, the muscles on his arms. She’d not expected to see those. Damn, she really wanted to wrap her hands around them and see if they were as hard as they appeared.
“Hey.” He stood straight.
“You okay?” Cody seemed winded. “Do you run often?”
He chuckled. “I do. However, I just extended my sprint. Pushing myself this morning.”
“Oh, okay.”  She knew nothing about running, but assumed that meant he was running as fast as he could.
“What are you doing out here?” He ran his hands through his damp hair.
“Gunther just went with his dad.” So I’m free.
“Do you have any plans?”
Say yes. Lily didn’t need to get mixed up with him right now. A boyfriend—or whatever he would be—would be one more thing in her life she just didn’t have time for. However, as he stood before her, his shirt clinging to his chest and his hair a sexy, wet mess, she couldn’t find the courage to lie. She had all weekend to get that pedicure, after all. “Nothing set in stone.”
“I’d love to take you out.” He cleared his throat. “If you’d like. No pressure.”
“What did you have in mind?” Anything he came up with would be fun.
“I need a shower. How about I come pick you up in about two hours and we’ll go find something fun to do?”
She shook her head. “Not my house. I’d rather meet you someplace.”
He raised an eyebrow, but didn’t push. “Okay. Eleven here?”
“That works.”
“Good. I’ll see you soon.” He winked and flashed her his incredibly sexy smile.
Lily nodded as she reached behind her to grab the door handle. Only, she hadn’t realized she’d moved several steps toward him. And in her attempt to grab the car handle, she’d lost her balance, landing on her backside.
Her cheeks burned. Why did she keep doing stupid things in front of this man?
“Are you okay?” Cody knelt down. “You’ve got to stop falling.”
Yeah, she was fine, minus the fact her ass hurt from the gravel.
