Shy music teacher Sophia Ballis has sworn off men. After a bad experience with a college jock she decided it was better to be alone than to get burned again. She focused on her education and now her new job at a local private school.
This is a very enjoyable read and I loved the storyline. Sophia is a sweet woman who loves teaching music to her young students. She is a little shy and has a small crush on her hometowns newest ball player, Paxton. Paxton is a ladies man but feels ready for a change when he meets Sophia. Paxton is a very lovable man who wants to give back to the community and finally settle down even though he is known as a ladies man. He is fascinated with Sophia and believes she is the woman for him. Sophia is equally attracted to him but has a hard time trusting him, especially with his reputation of having one night stands. This story is very well written and sweet, though it is very sexually hot. Sophia and Paxton's path to romance is filled with doubts and insecurities as well as love. I was drawn into this tale and found myself drawn into their struggles of building a solid relationship. I highly recommend this book to lovers of sweet yet hot romances that are beautifully written.
