manager Leslie Cutter has never been one to back down from a bet. So when Peter
Kowalskin, pitcher for the Denver Rush baseball team, bets her that she can’t
keep her hands off of him, she’s not about to let the arrogant, sexy playboy
win. Especially when the prize could put her business on the map. She’s got
this in the bag, just so long as she can stay out of his arms…and his bed.
Peter
struck out once before with Leslie, but this bet is sure to be the second
chance he’s been waiting for. Determined to stoke the passion he knows is
there, he’ll do anything to win - even if it means playing a little dirty.
But as
things heat up, this combustible pair will have to decide just how much they’re
willing to wager on one another…and on a future that just might last forever.

Author Interview:
What is your writing
environment? Anywhere I can grab a
few minutes to sit and concentrate. I
use a laptop, so it can go where I go.
But, most often I find myself writing at the dining room table because I
can see most of the house from that vantage point and keep an eye on my toddler
and infant .
Who is your perfect
hero/heroine? Why? When I was
sixteen I fell in love with Murphy Muldoon, the Irish farmer from Nora Roberts’
BORN IN SHAME. He has a special place
in my heart and will always be pretty darn perfect.
Which authors have caught
your interest lately? Why? Codi Gary
jumps to mind. So do Candis Terry and
Monica Murphy. The reason they’ve caught
my eye is that they write in the same genre that I do. Typically when I read for pleasure I grab a
historical romance (I LOVE my Highlanders, thank you Julie Garwood). I’ve only recently started reading other
contemporary romances and these ladies write some stellar ones.
What type of book
have you always wanted to write?
I’ve always wanted to write romance.
But, I’d also really love to write a cozy mystery series with paranormal
elements. That’d be so much fun!
Top 3 things on your
bucket list: Go to Scotland and
search for Nessie, See Machu Picchu in
person while people are still allowed at the site, and kiss my husband on a beach in Belize at
sundown.
How did you get the
idea for this particular novel? It
really built on itself from the first book in the series, STEALING HOME. I knew right from the beginning that there
were secrets between Peter and Leslie, and as I wrote each book the secret came
out. Right then the story fell together
in one cohesive whole.
What is your favorite
scene in your newest release? Personally, I love the bbq scene with all the
characters and Peter antagonizing Leslie.
It’s got such a fun, family feel to it.
I smile every time I read it.
What is the last
movie you watched and loved? Gosh,
this is tough. We rarely watch movies or
TV around here. But, we did watch Star
Trek: Into Darkness and I really liked it.
So I guess that counts.
What would you
consider a “perfect date”? Any date
that gets me alone with my hubby for some quality one-on-one. Then it’s all perfect.
What are you
currently working on? A Valentine’s
Day novella for Drake Paulson, the first baseman in my Diamonds and Dugouts
series, titled CONFESSIONS OF A SECRET ADMIRER.
It’s fun and sweet and sexy. I
think you’ll all like it. J

I like Alex Rodriguez ;)
ReplyDeleteNarrowing it down to one would be hard. But, I can say that there was plenty of cute young eye candy on the field during the World Series this year. ;)
