Stewart, seems to be in some sort of romantic relationship with him! Minutes
later Jocelyn returns to Neely, in the present day, weak and terrified.
Together they begin to unravel the forgotten past and find themselves facing
the reality of medieval Scotland. A strange world steeped in folklore and
superstition; where life begins and often ends with the sword. As Jocelyn
travels back to medieval times she learns that the man she keeps seeing is no
other than Sir Colin Campbell of the powerful Campbell Clan. When Jocelyn is
with Colin, she wants never to leave his side; then she returns to the present
and cannot imagine herself with anyone but Neely. Jocelyn struggles with a
choice. Which man will gain her heart when both offer such different love? She
is in love with two different men in two different worlds.

EXCERPT:
Jocelyn looked around for the driver who was supposed to be
waiting for her arrival with a sign. She had hired someone to pick her up
because, as an American and first-time visitor to Scotland, she had figured it
would be less stressful.
She didn’t see the driver anywhere; then, just as she
started feeling nervous, she saw a man holding a sign with her name on it. And
what a man he was! He was broad shouldered, strong and had dark brown hair with
reddish tints. He exuded masculinity like some cologne, and even across the
airport, she thought she could smell it. Smoothing her unruly hair, she started
to walk over to him.
The man, seeing her approach him, took a step toward her.
“Are you, Jocelyn?”
When he spoke her name, she found herself frozen in place
unable to respond. She’d heard this voice before; she knew this voice. This man
spoke her name exactly like the dream she had had all those years ago! She had
been stirred awake in bed by a voice of a man, who spoke her name with a
Scottish accent. His voice was gentle and low; as if he wanted to gain her
attention, but not cause her alarm. Jocelyn had clutched the sheets to her chest
and stared out into the darkness of her bedroom almost feeling his intimate
presence beside her. She lifted her hand up to her ear having sworn his warm
breath had brushed her skin. Jocelyn remembered she had turned her head,
anxiously, toward the pillow next to her and almost thought she would be
looking into the eyes of a stranger; yet she had not been frightened. This man,
his voice, somehow comforted her.
Now, she stood in the airport and caught her breath as she
faced the man before her. Her eyes searched his face for something; though what
it was she wasn’t sure. Jocelyn felt her heart beating so fast she was certain
the man could hear it as memories flooded her mind of that night so long ago
when he or someone spoke her name in the darkness. Was that the reason for her
vacation to Scotland? Was she unconsciously trying to find the man?

What is your writing environment?
It varies because I work most anywhere whether it be from home at
the kitchen island or a quaint coffee shop in town. The project and my mood usually dictates where
I am.
Who is your perfect hero and why?
A hero who is humorous and emotionally strong in a crisis is
attractive to me. I think it is the best of both worlds, a man who can make me
laugh, but also be counted on when things get rough.
What type of book have you always wanted to write?
For me, a non-fiction book that inspires others to believe in
themselves enough to pursue their dreams would be the ultimate.
Top 3 things on your bucket list?
Travel, Travel, Travel! I’ve really eliminated material stuff in
my life the past year and with it I have found a great freedom. So obtaining
more things is not of much interest to me. But the world is marvelous and
large. I desire to see as much of it as I can.
How did you get the idea for this particular novel?
I was walking my dogs and was inspired with all the characters and
backdrop in one burst of inspiration. It was something I had never experienced
before, but I went to work immediately on writing Two Worlds Two Men.
What is your favorite scene in your new release?
I might have to comment on two scenes because I have two male
characters, Colin and Neely, who both have great moments with the heroine
Jocelyn.
I enjoy the scene at Edinburgh Castle when Neely and Jocelyn are
spending the day together being tourists. Jocelyn goes alone into the chapel
and finds herself overwhelmed and crying. She turns to find Neely quietly
waiting for her in the back of the church where he silently holds out his hand
to her to join him. I like the chemistry between them in this scene because
Neely’s support is felt without words and Jocelyn realizes she has been alone a
long time and has missed that with someone.
My other favorite is the scene between Colin and Jocelyn at
Kilchurn castle. They are having a big feast and Jocelyn gets very tipsy which
causes her to begin to flirt boldly with Colin. He in turn finds her behavior
not only a turn on, but also refreshing as he is not use to people playing with
him. He is more use of others fearing him. They exchange some words, though
light, that relay a lot about Colin’s life as a clan leader and the pressures
that entails which is not something he normally would share. They laugh hard
and long in a precious intimate moment that Jocelyn treasures.
What are you working on now and when can we expect it to be available?
I am working on a fiction and nonfiction book right now.
Basically, I am juggling to find a home for both of them and market Two Worlds
Two Men at the same time. I love multi-tasking so I am completely in my
element.
What do you like to do when you are not writing?
I am really into outdoor activities so I enjoy walking, hiking,
and the beach. Trying out new restaurants is also a major joy I like to do and
broaden my taste buds. I never pass up an opportunity to explore new areas and
towns so I am the type of person always planning my weekend’s way in advance in
order to take advantage of whatever is going on at the time as far as dance
tours, musicals or art.
What would you consider a perfect date?
An interesting man who has exciting stories to share over exotic
food. The kind of conversation that leaves you speechless to hear more and the evening
is over much to fast because your curiosity has been perked.
What is one interesting fact about you that readers don’t know?
I don’t watch a lot of television. If I do watch anything it is
often cooking shows, PBS or BBC. At my last place I didn’t even have a
television which some people thought was really strange.
